Watching my children grow and having meaningful, fascinating and rather amusing conversations with them led me into a career path I now find myself in. Putting the child first and giving them opportunities to be heard and put their ideas into practice gives the child a sense of belonging and purpose and this in turn can help create a confident little being. I believe Kids on Beaufort will be a place where laughter will be heard and happiness can be seen.

It is such an amazing and rewarding feeling to know that, we can offer our local Community a quality Childcare centre. Kids on Beaufort will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine. And our Educators will support your child through some of the most important years of their lives.

Hi, My name is Karen. I am the Centre Manager of Kids on Beaufort and Big Kid on Beaufort and have been in the role for over two years after many years experience of working with children. I am originally for Scotland and live at home with my husband and 16 year old son. My passion is to deliver the best service possible and support and guide my teams to achieve the best. I enjoy seeing my teams grow into the wonderful educators they are and supporting them in achieving their goals. My daily tasks are to care for all staff members, families and children, ensuring the service we offer is a welcoming a fun environment for all. You will find me in the office between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, please stop to say hello any time.

Coordinator/Educational Leader
Hi, my name is Maz. I am a mum of two boys aged 12 and 9. My family background is Arabic (Palestinian) and my husband is Greek so our boys are a great mix of both cultures. I love to sing and make people laugh. I have been working in the Early Childhood industry for over 20 years. My role as Educational Leader is one I am very passionate about as I help inspire, motivate, mentor and guide educators in their development of the educational program as well as provide training to new educators in the industry and develop policies and procedures to best suit the needs of families and children enrolled at the service and ensuring we are in line with all National Law and Regulations.
I am very passionate about ensuring that we provide an environment where children feel safe and secure, enabling them to develop at their own pace.

I have worked in the early childhood sector for over 15 years, on the floor as an educator and in several leadership roles.
I believe that spending my days with children is not only a privilege, but an adventure filled with joy and wonder. I believe that every child is a capable, creative and intelligent learner. My mission as an educator is to support these qualities and challenge children in meaningful ways.
When I’m not sculpting young minds you can find me soaking up the warmth of my family or friends in a cosy cafe, I am a connoisseur of a good cup of coffee, a bookworm, but most importantly I am a Mum to my beautiful daughter so I am usually out exploring our amazing playgrounds and dancing like no one’s watching to Taylor Swift. (My daughter’s choice)

Hi my name is Brendan. I have been working at Kids On Beaufort for 4 years. I am currently the room leader in the Beaufort 2 room (2-3). I also run the sports program at the centre for all the rooms. I am working towards my diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I enjoy building positive relationships with the children and helping them grow into confident individuals. I believe that children need to be apart of an environment which fosters belonging, support and opportunities for learning.

I have been working in the Childcare Industry for over 3 years. It has been a pleasure to watch the children growing, learning and exploring the world in their own way. I have my Certificate 111 and am currently working towards my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care. I believe that each child can develop and increase their skills through everyday routine. I look forward to watching your child grow, each and every day.

With a passion for nutritious meals and a love for children. I bring my expertise and creativity to the table.
I understand the importance of nourishing young minds. As a mother of seven children myself I know firsthand the value of providing wholesome meals.
Join me on this exciting journey as we provide a nurturing environment for the children at Kids on Beaufort through wholesome meals that fuel their growth and development.
